Push or Pull: Simple Machine Spinner is an interactive digital tool designed to demonstrate the effects of force on motion. By pressing the "Push" or "Pull" buttons, students can observe how the wheel rotates, reinforcing the concept that force causes and affects movement. This tool effectively teaches the application of force and mechanical movement in a safe, repeatable, and interactive manner.

It supports Grade 3–4 students in understanding the concept of force (push and pull) and how it affects the motion of simple machines, aligning with the National Standards Curriculum (NSC) for Jamaica. The interactive design allows learners to visually and physically engage with the effects of applied force through direct input, making abstract concepts more concrete.

This was made as a manipulative for my Special Education Assignment. I had an awesome time working on this and refining it as well. Any feedback to improve it is greatly appreciated as well!

It is especially suitable for students with high-incidence disabilities such as ADHD, mild intellectual disabilities, and specific learning disorders. The simplified controls (single-click push/pull buttons), visual feedback (wheel rotation), and browser-based access make it easy to use independently or with minimal support. Additionally, the use of a QR code ensures quick, device-friendly access without the need for installation, helping to reduce barriers for students with attention or processing challenges.

By integrating visual, tactile, and exploratory learning, this tool encourages inclusive participation and reinforces science content through technology that is both accessible and engaging.
